About tustana
The Tustana Animal Hospital name was established by Hal Stanton in the early 1950’s.
In 1971 Dr Steve Frack purchased Tustana.
At that time Tustana was about a ½ block east from where the building is now located. The building was on a long narrow lot that was originally an orange tree orchard. Dr Frack then purchased the 3 vacant lots surrounding Tustana. The vacant lots then became home to three auto repair shops.
About one year later the state took all 3 lots including Tustana for freeway work. The state then gave the option to buy back one building which was one of the auto shops. Dr Frack then redesigned the auto building to become the new Tustana, which is where the building gets its odd shape!
Dr. Frack continued to own and run Tustana until 2005 developing a strong relationship with the community. In September of 2005, Tustana was purchased by Dr Pete Kvarnstrom and continues to provide the quality medicine and compassionate customer care that has come to be expected with the Tustana name. |
